At 32|The Creative Studio, you can get creative by glazing ready-made ceramic pieces. It’s the perfect activity for anyone who wants to enjoy a hands-on artistic experience without having to build or throw their own piece first. Choose a piece that speaks to you, pick your colors and patterns, and create a unique artwork that’s completely your own.
Whether you want to create something beautiful for yourself, make a personalized gift, or simply enjoy a fun and creative afternoon, bisque glazing is accessible, relaxing, and always full of surprises.
This is how it works
In our studio you will find a cabinet full of bisque-fired ceramics, from mugs and bowls to plates and small vases. Choose a piece that speaks to you and get creative with glaze colors, stencils, sponges, and brushes to bring your design to life.
We will give you a brief introduction to the materials and techniques, after which you can work independently in the studio. Feel free to enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, or a soft drink while letting your creativity run free. You will have two hours to finish your piece exactly the way you want.
Afterwards, we will glaze and fire your work in our ceramic kiln. This makes it durable, waterproof, and ready for everyday use.
Collect Your Creation
Finishing ceramics is a careful process that takes time. After glazing, your piece is fired at a high temperature in the kiln. This process takes a little patience, but trust us, the beautiful result is absolutely worth the wait!
You'll get a notification as soon as your finished piece is ready, which is typically within three to four weeks. You can then come collect it from the studio. We'll hold onto your work for a maximum of two months from the pickup date.
Prices
We charge a Studio Fee of XCG 25 per person for a 2-hour session. This price is excluding the chosen bisque piece. The bisque pieces are priced separately, starting from XCG 15, depending on size and design.
Need more time to finish your artwork? No problem, if space allows, you’re welcome to stay longer. In that case, an additional studio fee will be charged based on the extra time you spend.
Prefer to continue on another day? That’s possible too! Simply book a new Paint Your Pottery session on a different day to complete your creation.
