XCG 499 | Duration: 5 weeks (2.5 hours per class) | Max. 8 people

Join our 5-week handbuilding course in a relaxed atmosphere. In a small group of up to eight students, you will receive personal guidance from an experienced instructor. This course is suitable for beginners.

We cover all important techniques, such as pinching, coiling, and slab building. With these techniques, you will learn to create functional and decorative handmade ceramics. Each class lasts 2.5 hours, including cleanup time.


What can you expect?

Over five lessons, you will gradually build your skills. In the final lesson, you will glaze your pieces, after which they will be fired and ready for pickup in the studio after about four weeks.

  • Wednesday, November 18 15:00 - 17:30

Included:

  • Tuition for 5 classes
  • All materials (clay, tools, glaze)
  • Firing and glazing costs for 3 pieces
  • Want to keep more pieces? That can be done for an additional fee of XCG 15 per extra piece
  • One drink per class (coffee, tea, or a soft drink)

Practical:

  • This course is available for ages 16 and up
  • Suitable for beginners 
  • Costs: XCG 499 per person
  • Maximum 8 participants per course
  • Language: Dutch, If someone speaks English, it will be a combination of Dutch and English. 


Cancellation policy

Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance if you want to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Cancellations within 48 hours and no-shows unfortunately cannot be rescheduled. Thank you for your understanding, this way we keep the lessons running smoothly for everyone.

Do you know in advance that you will miss a lesson? Please let us know before the start of the course, and we will schedule a time for you to work independently in the studio. There may not always be a teacher present, but usually, there is someone to help you.


The course may be canceled or postponed if there are insufficient participants.
