XCG 499 | Duration: 5 weeks (2.5 hours per lesson) | Max. 5 people

Join our 5-week course on the pottery wheel in a relaxed atmosphere. In a small group of up to five students, you will receive personal guidance from an experienced instructor. This course is suitable for beginners.

We’ll cover all the key steps, from centering and shaping to trimming and glazing. The class is 2.5hrs long which includes clean up time.


What can you expect?

Over five lessons, you will gradually build your skills on the wheel. In the final lesson, you will glaze your pieces, after which they will be fired and ready for pickup in the studio after about four weeks.

  • Tuesday, October 6 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Tuesday, October 13 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Included:

  • Tuition for 5 lessons
  • All materials (clay, tools, glaze)
  • Firing and glazing costs for 4 pieces
  • Want to keep more pieces? That can be done for an additional fee of XCG 15 per extra piece
  • One drink (coffee, tea, or something fresh)

Practical:

  • This course is available for ages 16 and up
  • Suitable for beginners 
  • Cost: XCG 499 per person
  • Maximum 5 participants per course
  • Language: Dutch, If someone speaks English, it will be a combination of Dutch and English. 


Cancellation policy

Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance if you want to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Cancellations within 48 hours and no-shows unfortunately cannot be rescheduled. Thank you for your understanding, this way we keep the lessons running smoothly for everyone.

Do you know in advance that you will miss a lesson? Please let us know before the start of the course, and we will schedule a time for you to work independently in the studio. There may not always be an instructor present, but usually, there is someone to help you.

Note: attendance at the 4th lesson on October 6 is mandatory, this lesson cannot be made up at another time.


The course may be canceled or postponed due to insufficient participants.
